    The client is a large outpatient medical imaging provider and one of the largest physician radiology practices in the United States.


    Project Scope:
    • Develop BizTalk interfaces helping client to provide comprehensive outpatient diagnostic and interventional radiology services

    Design Group Scope of Work:

    • Develop and deploy BizTalk interfaces
    • Receive inbound orders and send results in HL7 messages such as ORU, ORM and ADT
    • Monitor BizTalk Server, receive inbound orders, send results in HL7  message format to ensure the diagnostic results pass through without any errors
    • Identify and fix errors during result(s) transformation

  • Implementation of Infor CloudSuite Industrial

    Implementation of Infor CloudSuite Industrial (SyteLine) ERP

    Design Group’s client that machines and assembles complex aerospace parts needed an ERP system to address scheduling, capacity planning, materials, BOM structuring and the management of Human Resources.  Infor CloudSuite Industrial (formerly known as Infor SyteLine) ERP was chosen based on the functionality and ability to support the client’s plans for growth.

    The implementation resulted in an improved capacity for planning and scheduling by 85-90%. Additionally, the tracking detail by lot input was accomplished in half an hour compared to the numerous days it took previously along with realizing 100% accurate information for parts shipment, traceability, lot control and invoicing.

  • Product Configurator - Knowledge-based Total Solution

    Product Configurator – Knowledge-based Total Solution

    Design Group’s client needed a product configurator for their DIN Rail mounted connectors and terminal blocks along with an interactive visualization.  A web-based configurator was developed with a 2D SVG visual canvas panel that was developed using MVC3 and HTML5.

    Along with an enriched interactive user interface, the client’s sales cycle was reduced from one week to less than eight hours.

    Infor XA Managed Services

    In order to maintain its leadership in the highly competitive home tool manufacturing industry, Design Group’s client required top notch IT support to maintain business continuity.  Design Group focused on providing this critical support and also on the Canadian system migration to Infor XA.

    As a result, for the client, the number of days required for counting the physical inventory was reduced from three to two, the analyses phase Annual budget reports reduced to one month from two and the pricing changes clock window was reduced from one day to three hours.
