• Define Network Schema
  
  • VLAN scheme, IP addressing scheme
• Solutions for connectivity and security
  
  • Remote access, communication with enterprise network, backup

Food Processing Plant Server and Network Upgrade

Project Scope:

• Upgrade plant controls network
• Leverage Rockwell Industrial Data Center (IDC) for Rockwell software
• Install 20 thin clients for operator workstations and quality data entry

Design Group Scope of Work:

• Design, procure, install, configure new robust OT network that is segregated from IT network
• Leveraged Panduit Zone Enclosures with Stratix 8000 network switches
• Install and configure 20 thin clients as FT View SE Clients and quality data input stations
• Change IP addresses on PLC’s/HMI’s that are moved to the new OT network
• Work with Rockwell to set up IDC with FT Asset Centre, FT Historian, FT View SE, and FT Vantage Point

Ingredient Slurry Addition and PLC Conversion

Addition of two material storage tanks with a turnkey electrical and controls solution to transfer to and from these tanks. Also included, a solution to upgrade antiquated plant hardware in conjunction with the equipment addition.

Design, installation, validation and commissioning of a multi-zone palletizer and stretch wrapper safety system for 10 beverage lines.

• Safety assessment completed by Rockwell Automation
• Mechanical guarding design
