Automation for New Biotech Facility

Design Group provided a distributed control system for the facility, utilizing ABB platform A. The application integrated multiple unit operations, supporting skids and process utilities. In addition to the development and testing of the DCS, Design Group personnel procured and bench checked instrumentation, manufactured the electrical control panels and performed all related installation and commissioning activities, including loop checks, hardware IQ and software validation.

Automation for Fermentation / Cell Separation Suites

Our firm designed and built turnkey control systems for a major biotech company to increase its capacity to produce a well-known hemophilia product. Design Group's scope included full electrical control system design, instrument specification, procurement and bench check, control panel manufacturing, programming, installation, startup and validation.
