Design Group Expands Process Design Capacity with Merger

June 1 2011 — Barry-Wehmiller Design Group, Inc. Announced today that it is expanding its process design practice with the acquisition of Cadence Technologies, a prominent process systems integration and engineering firm specializing in services for the beverage and food processing industries.

Hank Brink, founder and CEO of Cadence Technologies will remain with the firm in a senior executive role. Glenn Cooper, president of Cadence Technologies, will also remain with the firm and will concurrently serve as the leader of the Design Group’s Atlanta office. With the merger of the Cadence and Design Group teams, Atlanta will become a major regional office for the firm.
